1. Who we are
Fortis Entertainment is a trading name of Fortis Tech Limited (company 07298301), registered at 18 Callywith Gate, Launceston Road, Bodmin, Cornwall, PL31 2RQ. We run a UK marketplace connecting hosts with independent entertainers. We are not the entertainers' employer and do not perform the entertainment ourselves.
2. The booking
A booking is a direct contract between the host and the entertainer. Fortis facilitates the booking, handles the payment via escrow, and applies Fortis Cover.
3. Pricing
Every price shown to hosts is all-in — travel, setup, Fortis Cover and Fortis's operating margin are already included in the displayed number. No service fee or booking fee is added at checkout. Entertainers list for free and receive 100% of the rate they quote; Fortis's margin sits on top, paid by the host, and is what keeps the platform running.
4. Escrow
Host funds are held by Fortis until 7 days after the event and then released to the entertainer, subject to no open dispute.
5. Cancellation
Free cancellation with full refund until 30 days before the event. Cancellations within 30 days are handled per the entertainer's policy — Fortis Cover may apply.
6. Fortis Cover
Details at /cover. In short: replacement or full refund if the act cancels; up to £500 for equipment failure on the night.
7. Reviews
Reviews can only be left by hosts who completed a booking. Fraudulent reviews result in removal.
8. Liability
Fortis's aggregate liability for any booking is limited to the service fee paid, plus any Fortis Cover entitlement.
9. Law
English law, courts of England & Wales. UK statutory consumer rights not affected.
